Continuing on this weeks theme of talking about fall football way too early it's time to take a look at Phil Steele's annual preseason All-MAC team. Not surprisingly UB is down a bit on the early list because of the strength of the graduating class, still nine Bulls made the list.
Steele has a first through fourth team and an honorable mention team. Only two UB offensive players made the top four teams (Bitter and Nduka), with one player earning an honorable mention (Jerrold). There was a Bull on every defensive unit (Cook, Shannon, Winters, Thomas). Steven Means made the honorable mention list for defensive players. Finally A.J. Principe was the third team kicker.
So how did UB stack up against the rest of the MAC? The Bulls were a low middle of the pack team tied for eight in the conference with Akron.
