Didn't realize the basketball season ended on Feb 1st

Before today I never realized why students wouldn't come out to the basketball games. They're free, on campus, and a great way to show your school spirit in a sport that is nationally recognized in the NCAA. Few people who went ever got excited, and the only time people would really cheer was for big games such as the UCONN game, Akron game, etc. This used to puzzle me, because home basketball games when your school has a good program is a great way to just let loose, and look like a fool screaming for the night. Well, it took me 3.5 years, but I finally realized that I am just hoping for something that wont ever happen. The Bulls are awful, and the rest of the school realized this way before I did, and they are probably the smart ones for not showing up to games anymore.

I know Buffalo let up more points in a few other games this year, but this was by far the worst defensive performance of the entire year. The losses of A-Rob and Gamble really showed tonight, and with this being the 5th game in a row with awful defense, I dont expect it to get any better over the course of the rest of the season. Stick a fork in the Bulls basketball team, because if you wait any longer the meat will go bad because it has been wayyyy overcooked.
