It coaching carousel update time again, this time it has to do with two current UB Coaches.
First there is word that Tight Ends Coach Joe Dailey will be leaving UB to join Turner Gill at Kansas. Dailey's ties to Turner Gill go back to Nebraska where he spent the first part of his collegiate career as a quarterback in Gills Offense.

He a two-time selection to the Brooks Berringer Citizen Team and and was twice named to the Big 12 Academic Honor Roll (He was also named to the All-ACC Academic Football Team in 2006 and 2007 while playing for North Carolina)
He had been a graduate assistant at Buffalo during the 2008 championship campaign, after which he as hired on to his current role. He did a phenomenal job working with Jessie Rack this season who was a first team All-MAC Tight and the Bulls third leading receiver.
The other update has to do with UB receivers coach Juan Taylor. Taylor will meet with Jeff Quinn tomorrow (Monday 1/3). Coach Taylor would be one of the most desirable retention's for Buffalo from Turner Gills Staff.
Beyond helping to develop Naaman Roosevelt and Brett Hamlin who together may be the number one and two wide outs in school history (Maybe Drew Haddad sneaks in at #2) his performance this season as UB's recruiting coordinator has been exemplary. This years class of recruits includes several players fielding offers from Big10 or other BCS schools from schools from South Florida up to Canada.
Taylor began Coaching with the Milwaukee Mustangs of the Arena Football League under Lou Saban. He then coached at KSU (Kentucky) from 1995-1999 (Wide receivers) and also in 2003 (running backs) and 2004 (tight ends/offensive tackles) before coming to Buffalo.
