Chris Kokkinis broke a deadlocked game with 9 minutes left in the third and Nichols Edson took it from there as UB downed Indiana University of Pennsylvania 3-2 Sunday afternoon.
Edson had a stellar night, facing 32 shots and only letting two by (.9375 Spct) and the Bulls made the most of their 17 shots on Crimson Hawks net minder Padraig Carey. UB took a one goal lead into the second period before falling behind 2-1 late in the second. UB responded at the 1:38 mark of the period when Kokkinis fed Craig Meany to tie the game up. Kokkins would then go on to score an unassisted goal in the third as UB shut down IUP in the third.
