Graham Watson of ESPN seems to think so. Gill does a solid job recruiting, especially considering the state of UB when he inherited it, but calling him the best NON-AQ above BYU, TCU, and Boise State may be out of touch with reality.
Right now TG only has one commitment, albeit TG usually finds the diamonds in the ruff. He as *1* three star recruit in four years and typically places as a mid level MAC recruiter according to rivals and scout.
I love what the man does with the talent he gets but in terms of recruiting he is maybe top 10, defiantly not in the top 5. Considering the situation he walked into he does deserve the props of being on this list just not #1, maybe in a few years with the improvement's in every class.
