To get on "Outside the Lines," you generally have to do something really good, do something really bad, or have something really bad happen to you. Buffalo had something bad happen to them in 1958, but it took a good season in 2008 to immortalize the story on ESPN.
Buffalo pride was at an all-time high. The Bulls clinched their first trip to the MAC Championship. The Bulls gained their 7th win, giving them bowl eligibility and a likely trip to the International Bowl. Now, the members of the 1958 Bulls finally gained the national recognition that was stripped from them in 1958.
