Today the Buffalo Bills Wrapped up their rookie camp and with three wide receivers vying for one spot the odds were stacked against Buffalo Bulls alumni Fred Lee. Today Lee told Kevin Massare that the Bills will be giving their 90th roster spot to former ECU Tigers receiver Caleb Holley
I saw message board chatter from "Bull of all Bulls" that Lee was sitting on an invite to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers camp where UB Alumni Drew Willy and Willie Mosley are already a part of the Canadian Football League franchise. If BOAB is right we may be able to look forward to a "Willy to Lee" connection up in the great white north.
Lee spent the first half of his senior season in the shadow of teammate Alex Neutz (Neutz was signed as a free agent by Cincinnati) but when Neutz was injured against UMass the Chester South Carolina native stepped up and helped carry the Bulls to their second Bowl bid. Over the last six weeks of the season the Senior had 33 receptions and 3 touchdowns. During the Potato Bowl Lee had 4 receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown.
