Jerry Palm, who CBS calls their "BCS Expert" has released his first projections for the 2014 college Bowl lineup and Buffalo is in the picture. Palm has the Bulls going down to Montgomery to play the University of Lousiana, Lafayette.
The Camellia Bowl is a brand new sanctioned Division I college football bowl game which will kick off on December 20th 2014. If Buffalo were to make the trip to Montgomery's Cramton Bowl it would be the first time ever that the Bulls were selected for back to back Bowl Games. To date UB's three bowl selections are 1958, 2008, and 2013.
The 58 Bowl game was famously declined by the team when their African American players were told not to come. The 2008 International Bowl honored the 58 squad as Turner Gill won the Mid American Conference Championship. Then last season the Bulls went 8-4, earning a trip to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
This year's schedule really opens up the doors for another Bowl eligible season but with 2 FCS games and some of the weaker MAC West teams on the schedule UB should be shooting for at least 8 wins to get selected.
