Happy Monday Bulls Fans! Yet another Monday we get to celebrate victory, and the best time of the year - Midweek #MACtion - is only one game away. Let's take a look at our Bulls on Parade in the press.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Buffalo Bulls can't be ignored any more. Five straight victories should make the rest of the Mid-American Conference stand up and take notice.
Volleyball defeated Northern Illinois 3-2 and was swept 3-0 to perennial MAC frontrunner Western Michigan. The Bulls are now 16-5 on the year, 4-4 in the MAC.
The win also marks the 100th MAC win in the career of Colleen Munson; only Ohio has won more MAC matches than Western Michigan took the reins in 2005
The Bulls lost to Akron 1-0 at UB Stadium in the dying seconds of double overtime Friday night.
A golden goal by freshman Adam Najem lifted the No. 23 University of Akron men’s soccer team to a 1-0 Mid-American Conference victory against Buffalo Friday night at UB Stadium.

Karen McMahon scored her fourth of the season to lead the Bulls to a 1-0 win over Bowling Green on Friday. The Bulls also lost to Central Michigan in Double Overtime this weekend and are now 5-8-2 (2-6-0 MAC).
The Bulls owned the 22-4 advantage in shots, including allowing zero shots in the second half.
Coach Mitchell's Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams traveled to the Princeton Invite. The ladies had a strong team showing, finishing 4th of 25 teams, while the men were paced by a 12th-place finish by Senior Zach Ahart, who finished the 8k course in under 25 minutes. I will be happy if I go under 35 in the Turkey Trot.
The Men's and Women's Tennis teams competed in the ITA Regional Tournament at Yale University.
All three of UB's singles players made it to the quarterfinals of their draws, while the doubles team lost in their first match to a pair from Marist.
The ladies also supposedly competed at the ITA regionals, but you wouldn't know it.
Athletes of the Week
Soccer's lone goalscorer on the week and - who else? - the new UB rushing record holder are named Athletes of the Week. Congrats to Karen McMahon and Branden Oliver
