This Sunday for one series Steven Means played a role in Tampa's defense. It was not enough to help spark Tampa to their first win of the season but it may be a sign that the rookie for Buffalo is going to be seeing some more playing time.
In the second Quarter, with the Bucs up 10-7 Means brought LeSean McCoy down for a short gain. Two plays later Means just missed getting to Nick Foles. The Eagles would try to run around Means' side of the line one more time but Bryce Brown had no more luck than McCoy.
Unfortunately for Means and the Bucs there was no stopping the Philadelphia passing game.
Elsewhere in the NFL Josh Thomas had three tackles in the Carolina Panthers big win over the Minnesota Vikings. The third year corner back has 19 tackles so far this season and ten since returning from a concussion he suffered against the Buffalo Bills.
