Provided depth in the secondary, playing in four games

Dewillie Striggles came to Buffalo from the University School in Florida where he played wide receiver and defensive back. On the defensive side he broke up 11 passes, recorded two interceptions and added 19 tackles.

Last season as a red shirt freshman Striggles appeared in the first four games of the season as a reserve defensive back.. His best game came against Ball State where he put up four tackles and one for a loss. On the season he put up six tackels and one for a loss.

Coming out of spring practices Striggles is being being Najja Johnson and Carlos Lammons as a corner back on the right side.
