Gilboa/Galil signed for the upcoming season Mitchell Watt. The American rookie spent his NCAA career with Buffalo Bulls averaging 16.3ppg, 7.5rpg and 2.3apg as senior.
Hapoel Gilboa Galil is a professional basketball club that is based in north-east Israel since 2008. The club plays in a 2,500-seat stadium in Gan Ner.
In May 2010, Hapoel Gilboa Galil won the Israeli Championship, after defeating the defending champions Maccabi Tel Aviv, by a score of 90–77 in the finals of the playoffs.
Watt had a great post season, and played respectably for the Memphis Grizzlies after being singed to an NBA summer league. Still once the rosters were set Watt did not have a place in the NBA so he joined the Israeli Super League.
