This could be a big year for Najja Johnson. Last season as a Sophomore he earned a starting sport before the first game and held it the entire season. Johnson put together 39 tackles and an interception on his way to being named second team all MAC by Phil Steele. His 15 pass breakups led the Mid-American Conference with 15 pass breakups, which also ranked nationally.

He held off Carlos Lammons this spring in the competition for this seasons starting corner.
