Greg Lis: Buffalo pulls a linebacker from New Jersey

Stay connected for news and updates

The Buffalo recruiting class is finally starting to take off as word of Coach Jeff Quinn's fourth verbal hit the wire today. Greg Lis, a linebacker out of Wayne, New Jersey has given a verbal commitment to play football for the Buffalo Bulls.

The De Paul Senior enters this season after a stellar Junior year in which he was a key part of his team and an all metro linebacker. Lis has a solid work ethic that has helped him put 220 solid pounds on his 6'1 frame.

"He was the first one in the weight room and the last one to leave every single day. Even on days when we would get out of school early, he’d be asking, ‘Can I get in there?’ He has a tremendous work ethic. He really built himself into the player he is." -- DePaul coach John McKenna
