Played 2 games last season as a red shirt freshman

Bartholomew was a two-year letter winner at St. Francis High School. He was drawing some interest from ivy schools but decided to stay closer to home and take a shot with the Bulls.

Anthony, like many of the young lineman under first year coach Jeff Quinn, spent his entire freshman season as a red shirt, mainly working with the Buffalo Scout team. Last year he saw action against Temple and Akron, in each case when the game was well in hand but once again his biggest contributions are to the scout team.

This season Bartholomew seems to be standing with Gabriel Barbe as the backup center. He is one among a log jam of underclassmen on the line who are set to break out once some key Juniors and Seniors move on.
