Scout.com: MAC East Coaching Analysis & Hot Seat Status
Picture this. You’re a beleaguered athletic director with an opening at the top of the football organizational chart. Your checkbook is open, and your fan base is glaring at you with unwavering anticipation. Which of the SECs current head coaches would you put in charge of the program for the next five or so years? Knowing that your own job hangs in the balance, to which man would you entrust your future?
Yup apparently Buffalo was not worth mentioning and I can't fathom as to why?
No matter what platitudes were offered in public It was probably already pretty warm under Warde Manual. But a new Athletic Director owes no loyalty to a struggling coach and, from his perspective, does not need to feel bad about the "mistake" because he was not the guy who made it.
So if you're writing an article about MAC East Coaches on the hot seat who are you going to talk about? The only coach who might be in Quinn level dangers is Clawson in Bowling Green and at least he has goten the falcons to a Bowl game.
