Buffalo at Pittsburgh: Video Review
In 2012, yours truly started writing after the 2011 football season ended, but that did not prevent me from writing ad nauseum about 2011 UB football. First, the controversial issue of Brandon Oliver's position as a all time UB great. In a close comparison I gave the nod to Branden Oliver's 2011 campaign over James Starks' 2008 campaign.
Bull Run Nation disagreed, 54% of 119 voters selected Starks' 2008 season as the best season by a UB running back in school history.
Next, I took a painful dive back into the 2011 season, with the "video review." Through the painful losses, I found beacons of hope, great play calls ruined by poor execution, great execution ruined by questionable plays and some bad luck. Throughout the journey I learned we might be able to win if we could put it all together. More importantly, I learned the creativity and commitment of UB nation through their game thread comments.
