Tim McVey Switches Verbal: Air Force

Anyone who follows the process close enough knows that a verbal commitment and a dollar will buy you a coffee. Today Buffalo is proof of that with the departure of Tim McVey. Te Athlete out of Cleveland had given a verbal commitment to Buffalo back in July.

McVey is a The 5-foot-10, 185-pound back who rushed for 1,302 yards and 15 touchdowns en route to garnering 2011 first-team All-Northeast Lakes District honors as an "athlete" and third-team Associated Press All-Ohio recognition as a tailback.

On defense McVey racked up 24 tackles, eighteen solo, six tackles for losses, four sacks, a safety, and four quarterback hurries. On top of that he is also an electric special teams player. Blocking a kick and returning 13 kickoffs for 406 yards and two touchdowns last season.
