Names starting to surface in KSU coaching search… | Kent State Sports
I’ve heard West Virigina offensive coordinator Jeff Mullen is under consideration, which makes some sense based on his history with both KSU athletic director Joel Nielsen and executive associate athletic director Tom Kleinlein. People who know Nielsen and Kleinlein insist KSU will consider someone with ties to their previous posts at schools like Wake Forest, Rutgers or Arizona State. Nielsen and Kleinlein’s decision to handle the interview process on their own without the help of a search firm or search committee lends some credence to that assumption.
