UB Recruiting News: Lucky 13?

As of 1/4/2011 there is no confirmation from Bonner that he has committed to UB. Some services are reporting it but the Buffalo News is telling me there is no verbal at this time

Jeff Quinn keeps the recruits rolling in. This year we are losing a lot of our star power in the defensive backfield and while there is a nice stable of talent all ready on the squad bringing in some more blood for the backfield is a must do for Jeff Quinn and his Staff.

This time its Machael Bonner:

Bonner is a cornerback prospect with good length and instincts you look for out on the perimeter. Has more than adequate height but is lean and currently lacks the bulk and strength needed for a press-man corner. Savvy and smart with good quickness. Positions himself correctly and maintains proper leverage --ESPN

Bonner had offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Ball State, and Illinois. The six foot, 175 pound back from Huber Heights Ohio is the first Defensive back of this years class.

Side Note: There was a rumor that Pat "The Hammer" Williams was going to drop his verbal (and then another rumor that he is not). The 'He's gone' rumor is from ESPN, the 'He's staying' rumor is from someone who spoke to him (not from Bull Run) via facebook.
